What is the parent company of L'Oreal?

I need to know because I have to find stock information about it for homework. What is the parent company of L'Oreal?
While not a definitive resource, Wikipedia is a good starting point for your research! According to their entry on L'Oreal:

The L'Or茅al Group is the world's largest cosmetics and beauty company and is headquartered in the Paris suburb of Clichy, Hauts-de-Seine, France.

L'Or茅al is a listed company, but the founder's daughter Liliane Bettencourt, who is one of the richest people in the world, and the Swiss food company Nestl茅 each control over a quarter of the shares and voting rights.

Stockholders

As at year-end 2007:[1]

Breakdown of share ownership: 30.0% by the Bettencourt Family, 28.9% by Nestl茅, 3.7% treasury shares, and the remaining 37.4% are publicly traded.

Voting rights distribution: 31.2% to the Bettencourt Family, 30.0% to Nestl茅, and 38.9% to the public.

See more information at Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L'Or%C3%A9a鈥?/a> and of course, at the L'Oreal website, http://www.loreal.com
