Does L'Oreal Preference for dark hair only work?

I have natural black hair that i want to dye brown. I was thinking about using this product. Does it work? Also, how much developer should I use with it if i have black hair?Does L'Oreal Preference for dark hair only work?
as long as you have no dye on your hair already, than it will work.


the color will only lighten natural hair, it will not pick up dyed hair.





the only thing I would be careful of is that your hair is black - sometimes lightening hair that is that dark can have brassy results, so make sure you pick a cool color, instead of a warm color.
