Are there Any other Better Brands of Hair Dye?? What is better too, L'Oreal or Clairol?? Are there any other Brands that are better than any of these?? What are the best products for Dry, Brittle, and Damaged Hair??What is the Best Brand of Hair Dye? L'Oreal or Clairol? Is there any other Brands of Hair Dye that Are Better?
best for dry damaged hair? go for clairol natural instincts. its a demipermanent, so youll need to do it about every month-6 weks because itll fade out, but theres no damage to it, so your hair can improve in condition while using this product. Im usually a fan or loreal preference, but its too strong for damaged hair. You could also try loreal natural match, but ive seen better results from natural instincts. Stay away from nice n easy and feria and ';natural'; dyes like henna. those may not be as harsh on your hair, but they contain chemicals that, when mixed with ..say lightener used for highlights or you get a perm... will cause your hair to smoke and melt . its bad stuff and the only way to get rid of it is to cut it out, because you cant bleach it or your hair will dissolve. What is the Best Brand of Hair Dye? Your VERY best bet is to go to a salon.

If you HAVE to go store bought, L'oreal is the best. It is the least damaging to your hair and about the ONLY store bought you can by like this.
I learned from a beautician to never use any hair colors that says 'ash', like ash blonde or ash brown. The ones that say ash can turn your hair green. Remember..NO ASH!!!!
No L'Oreal, people have had allergic reactions to them, even when testing, and the colour fades REALLY quick, even on the ones that say lasting colour, trust me, I have used it before, I recommend Clairol, leaves a shiny colour for longer and doesn't dry out your hair.
you should buy L'Oreal its good for stuff like that.
L'Oreal is LACOME for those who can't afford L'Oreal.

I like ';Preference'; better than ';Excellance';...but Preference is discontinuing all their colours....because they are coming out with a colour that's TWICE THE MONEY! I won't go back to Excellance though---don't like it.

I like Clairol because they have an 800 # (Lacome is based in Paris, France --- so an 800# would be kinda hard!!)

Really, the best hair colour is Clairol...go to Sally's or a beauty supply that carries it, and buy the tiny box with the 'toner' only...by Clairol. Then, buy a bottle of 10% volume CREME peroxide...and mix them 50/50. It's better and cheaper than buying the box.

Any questions? Call Clairol's 800 number.
